HOGERBOX LTD. is implementing a project called "HOGER Decontaminator for the Autonomous and Intelligent Implementation of Complex Microbiological Contamination Removal Processes," co-financed by the European Funds for Małopolska 2021-2027

Programme. The project involves comprehensive, interdisciplinary research and development work leading to the development of key technologies for an Autonomous Decontaminator based on the VHP (gaseous hydrogen peroxide) method. The planned activities include:

  • developing the device’s structural layer, including the evaporation system and hydrogen peroxide dosing system, as well as components responsible for the stability of the decontamination process.
  • material testing of the dryer and H₂O₂ decomposition catalyst will be conducted, and the compatibility of the materials with VHP technology will be assessed.
  • developing the control layer, including a feedstock identification and classification system and algorithms for autonomous process parameter selection.
  • experimental development work will be carried out, including the construction of a prototype, its demonstration, and validation of the technology under target conditions.

The project will result in the development and implementation of a global product innovation: a portable Autonomous Decontaminator, integrating the functions of drying, evaporation, and VHP decomposition in a single device. This device will, for the first time, enable:

  • completely autonomous execution of VHP decontamination processes without operator intervention,
  • automatic selection and optimization of process parameters based on sensory data and machine learning algorithms,
  • reduced decontamination time and increased efficiency and energy efficiency (including significant cost reductions through reduced personnel requirements and reagent consumption),
  • ensure biocidal efficacy of 99.9999% (so-called log 6 reduction) across a wide range of applications.

The project’s results will benefit entities operating in areas requiring sterility and microbiological contamination control, particularly the pharmaceutical sector, healthcare (hospitals), the biotechnology industry, research units working with pathogens, emergency response services, as well as users of areas exposed to microbiological contamination – including flooded rooms, archives, and spaces at risk of mold growth.

HogerBox Ltd. is implementing a project co-financed from European Funds. "Hybrid isolator combining the features of a laminar chamber and a glove box with a high safety class with the possibility of performing operations in a robotic manner."

The aim of the project is to develop a prototype of a hybrid isolation glovebox that protects the operator from contact with hazardous materials, including pathogens. The designed solution, combining the features of a laminar chamber and a glovebox, guarantees a high safety class, and also enables the automation and robotization of repetitive technical operations.

FINANCING: 3 884 400,00 PLN

TOTAL INVESTMENT VALUE: 5 201 500,00 PLN

We manufacture gloveboxes of our own design, which provide operators with safety during contact with harmful compounds, isolate sensitive materials from oxygen and moisture and protect the work environment from what is undesirable.
